The Sequence Read Archive (SRA) stores raw sequencing data from the next generation of sequencing platforms Data submitted to SRA. It is organized using a metadata model consisting of six objects: study, sample, experiment, run, analysis and submission. The SRA study contains high-level information including goals of the study and literature references, and may be linked to the INSDC BioProject database.

The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 4 mappings to external registries for insdc.sra.

Registry Name Metaprefix External Prefix
FAIRSharing FAIRSharing logo fairsharing FAIRsharing.g7t2hv logo miriam insdc.sra
Name-to-Thing Name-to-Thing logo n2t insdc.sra
Prefix Commons prefixcommons INSDC.SRA

Providers are various services that resolve CURIEs to URLs. The example CURIE insdc.sra:SRX000007 is used to demonstrate the provides available for insdc.sra. Generation of OLS and BioPortal URLs requires additional programmatic logic beyond string formatting.
