The Consensus CDS (CCDS) project is a collaborative effort to identify a core set of human and mouse protein coding regions that are consistently annotated and of high quality. The CCDS set is calculated following coordinated whole genome annotation updates carried out by the NCBI, WTSI, and Ensembl. The long term goal is to support convergence towards a standard set of gene annotations.
ccds
Local identifiers in Consensus CDS should match this
regular expression:
^CCDS\d+\.\d+$
Compact URIs (CURIEs) constructed from Consensus CDS should match
this regular expression:
^ccds:CCDS\d+\.\d+$

Providers are various services that resolve CURIEs to URLs. The example CURIE
None:CCDS13573.1
is used to demonstrate the provides available for
this resource. Generation of OLS and BioPortal URLs requires additional programmatic
logic beyond string formatting.
Additional providers curated in the Bioregistry are listed here.
