The EGA is a service for permanent archiving and sharing of all types of personally identifiable genetic and phenotypic data resulting from biomedical research projects. The EGA contains exclusive data collected from individuals whose consent agreements authorize data release only for specific research use or to bona fide researchers. Strict protocols govern how information is managed, stored and distributed by the EGA project. This collection references 'Datasets'.

Local identifiers in European Genome-phenome Archive Dataset should match this
regular expression:
^EGAD\d{11}$
Compact URIs (CURIEs) constructed from European Genome-phenome Archive Dataset should match
this regular expression:
^ega\.dataset:EGAD\d{11}$
The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 5 mappings to external registries for this resource with 3 unique external prefixes.

A provider turns a local unique identifiers from a resource into a URI. Many providers are also resolvable as URLs (i.e., they can be used in a web browser).
The local unique identifier EGAD00000000001
is used to demonstrate the providers
available for European Genome-phenome Archive Dataset. A guide for curating additional providers can be found
here.
Additional providers curated in the Bioregistry are listed here. These are typically inherited from Identifiers.org or Prefix Commons, and need extra curation.
