The SPARC Data Repository Service (DRS) is an implementation of the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) DRS specification that provides a standardized API that enables researchers and other data consumers to access and retrieve data objects from various data repositories in a consistent and cloud-agnostic way. This implementation provides information for data objects in the SPARC repository (sparc.science).

Local identifiers in SPARC DRS should match this
regular expression:
^(?:[a-zA-Z]+\/)?[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$
Compact URIs (CURIEs) constructed from SPARC DRS should match
this regular expression:
^sparcdrs:(?:[a-zA-Z]+\/)?[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$
The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 1 mappings to external registries for this resource with 1 unique external prefixes.

A provider turns a local unique identifiers from a resource into a URI. Many providers are also resolvable as URLs (i.e., they can be used in a web browser).
The local unique identifier package/8ca67504-3167-4cc8-ba74-98137bb7cd0a
is used to demonstrate the providers
available for SPARC DRS. Some providers may use a different example, which is displayed in the table below.
A guide for curating additional providers can be found
here.
