Protein Affinity Reagents (PSI-PAR) provides a structured controlled vocabulary for the annotation of experiments concerned with interactions, and interactor production methods. PAR is developed by the HUPO Proteomics Standards Initiative and contains the majority of the terms from the PSI-MI controlled vocabular, as well as additional terms.

Pattern for Local Unique Identifiers

Local identifiers in Protein Affinity Reagents should match this regular expression:
^\d+$

Example Local Unique Identifier
0116   Resolve
Pattern for CURIES

Compact URIs (CURIEs) constructed from Protein Affinity Reagents should match this regular expression:
^psipar:\d+$

Example CURIE
psipar:0116
Namespace Embedded in LUI
This resource has been annotated by the Bioregistry as having a potential namespace embedded in LUI. This means that you may see local unique identifiers that include a redundant prefix and delimiter (also known as a banana) and therefore look like a CURIE. For Protein Affinity Reagents, the banana looks like PAR:. Therefore, you may see local unique identifiers for this resource that look like PAR:0116 (instead of the canonical form 0116) and CURIEs for this resource that look like psipar:PAR:0116 (instead of the canonical form psipar:0116). The Bioregistry will automatically strip off the banana when standardizing local unique identifiers and CURIEs.
Metaregistry Protein Affinity Reagents

The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 3 mappings to external registries for this resource with 1 unique external prefixes.

Registry Name Registry Metaprefix External Prefix Curate

Providers

A provider turns a local unique identifiers from a resource into a URI. Many providers are also resolvable as URLs (i.e., they can be used in a web browser).

The local unique identifier 0116 is used to demonstrate the providers available for Protein Affinity Reagents. A guide for curating additional providers can be found here.
