NONCODE is a database of expression and functional lncRNA (long noncoding RNA) data obtained from microarray studies. LncRNAs have been shown to play key roles in various biological processes such as imprinting control, circuitry controlling pluripotency and differentiation, immune responses and chromosome dynamics. The collection references NONCODE version 3. This was replaced in 2013 by version 4.

The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 3 mappings to external registries for noncodev3.

Registry Name Metaprefix External Prefix miriam noncodev3
Name-to-Thing n2t noncodev3
Prefix Commons prefixcommons NONCODEV3

Providers are various services that resolve CURIEs to URLs. The example CURIE noncodev3:377550 is used to demonstrate the provides available for noncodev3. Generation of OLS and BioPortal URLs requires additional programmatic logic beyond string formatting.
