Genre/Form Schemes lists genre/form schemes and assigns a URI to each, enabling users to link controlled terms to the correct scheme. The schemes cover: content types (e.g., text, notated music, cartographic dataset); media types (e.g., device needed to access content); carrier types (e.g., audiocassette, microfiche, online resource); genre types (e.g., biographies, essays, hymns) describing style or intellectual content; and form/physical characteristics (e.g., diaries, directories, journals) indicating material type or structure. Only sources specific to genre/form are included.
