The Human Proteome Map (HPM) portal integrates the peptide sequencing result from the draft map of the human proteome project. The project was based on LC-MS/MS by utilizing of high resolution and high accuracy Fourier transform mass spectrometry. The HPM contains direct evidence of translation of a number of protein products derived from human genes, based on peptide identifications of multiple organs/tissues and cell types from individuals with clinically defined healthy tissues. The HPM portal provides data on individual proteins, as well as on individual peptide spectra. This collection references proteins.

Pattern for CURIES

Compact URIs (CURIEs) constructed from Human Proteome Map should match this regular expression:

Example CURIE
Metaregistry Human Proteome Map

The metaregistry provides mappings between the Bioregistry and other registries. There are 4 mappings to external registries for this resource with 2 unique external prefixes.

Registry Name Registry Metaprefix External Prefix Curate
BioContext biocontext HPM.PROTEIN logo miriam hpm.protein
N2T Name-to-Thing logo n2t hpm.protein
NCBI National Center for Biotechnology Information Registry logo ncbi HPM

Providers are various services that resolve CURIEs to URLs. The example CURIE hpm.protein:1968 is used to demonstrate the provides available for this resource. Generation of OLS and BioPortal URLs requires additional programmatic logic beyond string formatting.

Name Metaprefix URI
