Summary
ALDH10A8 encodes a protein that has not been functionally characterized, but it is similar to an Arabidopsis protein that has betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase and aminoaldehyde dehydrogenase activity. ALDH10A8 localizes to leucoplasts. aldh10a8 mutant plants are more susceptible to NaCl and dehydration stress.
