Biomarker of acute pancreatitis and gastroschisis. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including acute myeloid leukemia; gastrointestinal stromal tumor; germ cell cancer (multiple); piebaldism; and renal cell carcinoma.
